Clam down little doggy!
I said I didn't mind the idea of a mini pet pack from the online store (as long as it was just the normal variety and no rare ones).
I said you were making a bigger deal out of mini pets then needs to be, because you were suggesting they were a main cause (of many) of botting to generate wealth.
Which may be true for a very small % of the community, but I would seriously question whether anyone would waste their time using a bot to create wealth just for mini pets.
You seemed to be suggesting your "mini pet pack" as a way to prevent or reduce botting, by making all mini pets very easily accessed and unlocked. Believing it would remove the need to use bots to buy the mini pets.
But what you don't seem to realise is that players use bots for a lot more then mini pets. They use bots to attain wealth for a huge variety of things like weapons, rare materials and armor. Would you suggest Anet then release an instore pack to unlock all weapons, all obsideon armor and an ample supply of ectos on demand?
But its your comment suggesting that Anet don't try to fix botting which got me more then anything else. You're questioning Anet's dedication to elimination or reducing bots ingame and I find that pathetic.
Anet has staff working 24/7 to work through data to track down and remove bots and ban accounts for foul play.
But their limited in funds and staff to do it and to contend with thousands of players is not easy.

Do you want all the people who dedicated months of their lives to get one of these rare minis to suddenly be left with nothing? Do you want them to go KILL themselves? Do you want their blood on your hands??!
In the words of a 9 year old I once knew "YOU CRAZY!!!"
/endsarcsm
Anyways, your idea is preposterous. These items are rare, and ment to stay that way. If this was added to the store, a gazillion people would buy it, and then the minis would be worth nothing, and then everyone would wonder why they spent $25 on filling up their HoM.
This thread has all the potential to be an Epic Flame war.

Mini pet packs. thats just funny. Im sorry but NO!!!!!!!!!! If you get lucky, then you will get that rare pet on your birthday. If your not that lucky, then im sorry about your luck. I know my mini lich would not mean as much to me as it does if i had bought it, weather from another player or from a pack. But i got it as a gift from A-net and I thank them. No its not for sale at any price.
Next thing you know, people are gonna want to be able to BUY all titles.
Now as for your comment about a monthly fee...ARE YOU FLIPPIN MAD?????? or just retarted?

mini pet prices are stable and giving them all away in a pack would DEstabalize them and make them all worthless.

I seriously wonder how dedicated you guys(developers) are for your game, especially since it is only Guild Wars 1. It seriously dampen my anticipation for Guild Wars 2. Secondly, it also helps to generate income for running the servers.

you are really new here arent you as a while ago they completely UPGRADED the server network recently.

Why? After experiencing the release of pvp unlock packs and latest of all the bonus mission pack for us to buy, I pity all those players who spent most of their time pvping to get balthazar points in the past, especially when they have forsaken part of their social life or the lack of sleeping sufficiently
|
.
they were having fun doing it which you havent a clue about if you consider playing a game a waste of your time/life.
play something else and stop the whine about not having or being able to aggord the RARE minipet you are so desparate to get.

also the fact that districts are being merged to save bandwidth recently. Which is pretty hilarious when a monthly fee could just be included and be done with it in the first place.

efficiency as people spreads out results in lower district numbers
MONTHLY FEE AND MOST OF US WOULDNT BE HERE YOU *expletive/diety of choice*

he said it.
Also this is one of those topics that should be stickied to show how retarted humans can be.
minis aren't worth anything they dont shit but look silly in town. There are a couple that I like but all in all they aren't worth getting and if you think they then do something called...
FARMING!
geeze this topic is just another player who cries on that he can't get a mini kunny or one of those so he wants anet to fix his problem instead of him actually saving up money for it like how some of us did who missed the Factions CE
this thread wins the idiocy award
Sardelic is always great for topic like this

minis are meant to be (duh) birthday presents, and the rare ones are presents for various other things, contests and the like.
an unlock pack would totally kill the mini market. i mean, white first years are all like 5k and under, what would they sell for then? 50g?

well i love and want all the mini's, however I want them without having to pay for them like this. Birthday ones i want from birthdays, via trading doubles or recieving, the others i would like from competitions, buying ingaming for gold or by some new ingame method that is difficult to get.
Like Ghostly Hero or Mallyxx
